Took the 4Runner out to the 5313 Offroad Park near Calhoun, GA on Saturday and am stoked at discovering such a fun place just 45 minutes from my house. It’s not huge but you can definitely put your rig and yourself to the test on some challenging terrain. (Happy to say my $200 TRD suspension upgrade proved itself again.)
Dashcam video coming soon and here are some still pics in the meantime.
This is actually on the way out after the fun.
Felt the rear end drag coming out of a big puddle & thought, “I probably should have pulled the hitch plug.” Stopped & looked to be on the safe side. Sure enough, it had decided to take a dip. ��
That “more for looks” extra front skid my SE came with took one for the team. I didn’t get far enough to the left on one section and slid sideways into a fairly deep hole. Thought I might be stuck but she climbed right out with some throttle. The right bracket and edge of the skid where it bolts on are bent and there are battle scars on the underside of the bumper but nothing serious. I’ll try to hammer out the skid & bracket tomorrow.
Turned onto one trail & these beautiful dogwood blossoms were right outside my window.
It was a fun day.

I had some 12V led's I could have thrown in for you.
Nice site, I considered building a site as well. With Family and Career, didnt want to get too involved in the swaps. Weekend hobby to make some side cash. I have sent business to others, so if I get backed up or anything, be glad to send some your way!

Johns kit come ready to install, besides, for a long time I wasn't having any trouble with the cluster so I was blind to who was offering their services, LOL. No worries Sparky, you have me as a customer!

RIP the faux front skid plate on my '07 SE. I was able to hammer out the bracket and the bent section of the skid where the bolts go, but then saw that the curved part is irreparably warped from about the middle down to one end. No way to get it symmetrical again, at least not with the metalworking tools I have. It must have landed on something hard when I slid into the mudhole. Too bad. While I know it really wasn't functional (though it arguably saved the radiator from taking the hit), I liked the look.

My rig got new front brakes today, coated rotors and calipers plus new pads of course. Stops great now.
Replace Bank 1 A/F sensor and both downstream o2 sensors. Re-calibrated VSC. Seems to have taken care of my CEL, VSC light and ABS light as I have driven over 50 miles on several trips and lights have yet to return.
Also replaced a power steering hose to take care of a leak.

Wired up my 12 circuit blue sea unit today. Utilized the Overland Equipped mounting bracket with the breaker it was designed for. Overall I'm very happy with it. Used 4 gauge wire for both the power and ground. Cable shroud, marine grade heat shrink and tinned copper lugs. Kept the runs as short as possible. Now I just need to get myself some fuses and get a few accessories wired in! All that's wired now is the hella horns.

After a couple week ago of checking the transmission fluid, vehicle is running smooth.
Also cleaned the body throttle for the first time. Lots of gunk in it, probably never been cleaned before. After cleaning the vehicle had a Check Engine light.
Check engine light pointed to the solenoid for the throttle body as well as the stupid P0430 code.
Drove the vehicle up the ramp, pulled the O2 sensor out, put in some dielectric grease, drove for 200 miles on a nice overnight road trip, vehicle seems fine.
Tomorrow going to put a clamp on one of the hose to make sure it doesn't pop out.

Swapped a blown fuse and fixed the no power to the DC outlets.

Day 2 of ownership:
Detailed and then purchased and installed the TRD trail wheels from a 2018/2019. (At least I think that is what they are called)
...sitting at the tinting shop now. Getting the front windows correct.

Nice wheels, but those are not TRD wheels.
