I noticed that there is no sub-forum of the T4R Club section for Atlantic Canada (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador). It's hard to believe, but there is civilization east of Quebec!

War Thunder, Red Orchestra 2, Farming Sim 15, Skyrim, BeamNG.drive to name a few. I've also played just about every MMORPG at some point in the past 10 years.

Fairly common. They usually fetch a premium price too, especially where I live.

As much as I'd love to make the 4200km trip, it's really just not realistic for me. People bring vehicles up all the time from the drier regions.. those people also have money and time. Something out of the question for the poor student. I guess my question is really this: are these trucks...

These are right from the guys Ad.. I don't have much for work space (actually, hang on, I have no work space), but I do know a competent, experience welder who happens to owe me $400 worth of work.

Still negotiating with the guy, but I'm willing to bet I could get it for around $500.. This is why its tempting as hell

The title pretty much says it all.. I need some advice. Would you guys risk buying a 3rd Gen knowing full well that the frame needs plating? The guy sent me these pictures today: From what I can tell its fixable.. but will it be safe? Does anybody have experience with this kind of repair...

The guy just said he'd snap some pictures tomorrow morning.. Here's to hoping its not a complete wreck.

Luckily I'm in NB so inspections are a little more lenient, I'd say. I wish I could get some more pictures from this guy but it seems as though he has no idea what he's dealing with or the extent of the repair. It's looking like some mechanic told him that his frame needed to be patched last...

While we're on the topic of rust - would you guys consider buying a truck that was in need of frame repair from rust?
