Today I had a new dash cover installed on my wifes 2004 4Runner under warranty. However, on the way home I noticed the steering wheel tilt no longer works. My question is, how far do they have to tear down the dash to install a new dash cover, and would that involve the steering column? Thanks!

JBL update The dealer replaced the JBL amplifier in the rear quarter panel. I have an extended warranty that covered it. The stereo sounds GREAT now! Probably better than when we bought the 4Runner new. The speakers are now balanced with the front speakers and the stock sub is very strong...

I am replacing a defective JBL subwoofer in my 2004 4Runner. Some time ago I saw some detailed instructions on the removal of all the interior trim in order to get to the sub. I can't find it now. Does anyone know where I can get this information? Thanks!
