Same issue. I carry a little squeeze bottle of graphite lubricant. It's designed for locks and does wonders. It's not a permanent fix, but it will keep you from being stranded...

Thanks UnderFire, Just now had the old alternator tested and it passed... So now I'm suspecting the junction.. I looked at the fuses last night and neither the 7.5amp nor the 100amp seemed to be blown. It's never easy huh? Lol

Finally got a print out of it aligned. Shop said it was just "Radial wear of the tires". I took it to another shop and showed them the print out, their mechanics unanimously agreed it was either a bent driver's side lower control arm, or the frame was pushed back on the driver's side. I didn't...

Truck wanders slightly both left and right, but no shimmy. Smooth ride all the way up to 80mph. Steering wheel feels like there is play in the rack maybe? It's nice and smooth on resistance however it take maybe 5-10 degrees to notice a change in direction.
