No, the problem was that WE DID mess with our balljoints. I ended up not getting mine out. Now I know to leave it alone.

I did the exact same thing putting on my lift!!! Down to the knowing it wasn't smart and everything. I went to Kragen and got a 3/4 nut, used a die kit to smooth out the bolt, and haven't had any problems with it coming loose.

If I put my luggage in my roof rack basket will it really make my T4R get less mpg? I figure it's the same as putting it in the rear. You have to haul the weight no matter what right? I normally drive around with my basket on top, just wondering if where I distribute the weight will matter...
