Hi Ruffian and Melinda, I'm up for a run in the Sierra. Just came back from Bear Valley - had taken the family skiing. Have also done some trails in Sonora during the summer. Would love to explore the backcountry with some likeminded 4Runner owners. Let me know when you plan to do a run.

Thanks for posting the rear camera pics. 2 questions: 1) Do you know if the installer ran the wires up through the headliner, or down under the carpet ? 2) Is that double-sided tape holding the camera to the truck ? Reason I ask, is I'll probably do the same setup. THanks.

Nice right up and good work ! It looks really good. The black mirrors have always peeved me - it's completely ridiculous in a car that lists for nearly $34K (as did mine) to not have painted mirrors. I'll do the same, if I can't find the time do it myself, I'll look into a body shop to do it.

Chrome gives it more of an upscale look. I had parked mine next to a dark blue Limited once, and asked some friends which one they thought was the 'top of the line' - they selected mine (SR5). Also the truck looks strange in darker colors with the dark grilles - looks really plain.

Excellent choice of rims/tires/lift combo. The black side moulding really enhances the look of your rims. I was considering the same rims, but on an red 06 didn't think they would look good, the moulding is what makes it look sharp. Gives it that two-tone effect.

Merry Christmas, Was reading the paper this morning and a local dealer was advertising 07 4runners for $7000 off list. (which means they'll deal even more ..) Which is good for those buying new. For those who already bought (like me), none too happy. Anyway thought it might help someone.

Congrats on your new 4Runner. But I have to say you got it for a great price. That family discount is really good - but it's not fair ! I paid $32.4K otd for my SR5, would have been a no brainer to drop another $3K for a Limited. Time to browse the family tree and see who works at car...
