Cancel that question. The motor was putting a lot of load on the circuit. Hence the heat and low voltage. I disconnected the motor and got 12.5 volts at the connector with no load. I took the motor apart and there was a black line on the contacts. I sanded down the contacts and reassembled...

I didn't replace a sensor, just recalibrated my gas gauge using this reset. It used to drop from full after only a few miles and then within another 150 the low fuel light would come on. Way more accurate now.

Did you test the resistance on the temp lobe? Or the voltage when air passes through? I used pins in the back of the connector to check the voltage and blew threw the MAF with it plugged in but out if the air box. This is what lead me to clean mine a second time, unloading tons of carb cleaner...
