Is it possible that the wheel bearings could cause the shaking and pulling. I had three people (shade tree mechanics) look at it and they said the tie rod seems fine. The passenger tie rod has definetly been changed already. If it is the tie rods, how hard is the replacement?
Recently, my 95 3.0 SR5 has developed a habit of shaking badly and pulling hard left at around 60 mph. The problem first happened last week and not again until today on my way from work. There is some play in the driver side tie rod compared to the passenger sides amount of play. There is also a...
Turned out to be loose fuse after all. I had already taken the fuse out and checked it. But the truck was off. I did it with the ignition on it and the radio came on when I pushed really hard and has stayed on since.
That's it. Thats the one that I cannot find online. I don't have the time to get anywhere locally between work and baby. Have any idea where to get this seal?
When I bought my 95' T4R it had no weatherstriping on the tailgate glass where the glass meets the tailgate. I looked online and found on toyotapartsamerica.com a weatherstrip for the bottom right and the left of the rear glass. The picture showed it as two parts. Does anyone know if this is...
When this happens the power antenna does not come up when I turn on the truck. When the radio does decide to work it seems that it is b/c the antenna gets power and will raise and the radio works fine. But then by itself it cuts off and the antenna retracts.
Yeah thats the button Im talking about. I have to physically depress that broken button in front the shifter with a knife in one hand and push the button on top of the actual shifter to move from park. Are following me now. It just seems like a little much to get your truck in gear.
I can not figure out the problem with my stereo. It is an aftermarket CD player. It comes on when it wants not when I want it to. I can hear a noise under the dash when it is coming on and off b/c sometimes it comes on and goes right back off. I have checked the fuses. Help!
The button is broken and has to be pressed in with a key or something similar with one hand while the other hand is moving the shifter from park. Not very fun. Thats why I was looking for a fix.
I cannot find a rear bumper plastic cover. The bumper and the sides are still intact, just the plastic is missing. Does anyone know where to get one? Next is the shift lock override button is broken, so you have to manually depress it and the button on the shifter to get out of park. Meaning you...
