I think the Trail Edition must have more clearance because I put 285/70/17 Duratracs on my stock wheels with no rubbing at stock height (I did do the front fender mod that takes about 2 minutes). I had a tiny amount of rubbing only on the driver side mud flap, only when making a slow braking...
I just installed duratrac 285/70/17 on my trail edition with stock wheels. I did the front fender mod (search front fender mod) which took me all of 2 minutes. I did have a little bit of rubbing on the drivers side mud flap only when in a braking left turn. I had an alignment done and had them...
I know the question on which setting people like for the front end leveling using 5100's has been beaten to death but after an exhaustive search I haven't seen anyone chime in with actual reports of if people are seeing a reverse rake when towing or hauling.
I am town between the 2nd and 3rd...
Here are some pics of the Duratrac 285/70/17's on stock rims and stock height on the TE. Billstein 5100 installation next week.
So far only a tiny amount of rubbing on the Mud Flap (I did the front fender Mod). My plan is to have them add some caster when they do the alignment after installing...
Hey all... Does anyone know if the Billstein 5100's are compatible with the Trail Edition's KDSS system?
My plan is to run those on all 4 corners with the fronts set to the 2nd setting (0.85") and throw a set of Duratrac 285/70/17's on the stock rims.
Someone warned me that the 285's could...
I am leaning towards this, and hoping it will fit (I have the JBL 15 speaker TE W/Nav)-
Dash - Kappa 329CF
Front - Kappa 693.9i 6x9
Rear - Kappa 63.9i 6x5
Liftgate - Kappa 63.9i 6x5
Subwoofer - Any Suggestions? Should I stick with a 2ohm like the rest of the speakers are?
Question - Has...
Count me in on a GB. I have an HID kit installed, but no projectors (that was a mistake). I can keep the balasts I have but will need the projectors, bulbs, and am interested in sending them my lights for them to complete.
I used the same ones as I used in the Map lights, and in the 4 door lights, they are the WLED-XHP5 which are actually 360 degree but seems to reflect down to the plate nicely.
I too have installed the Xenon Depot HID's and am happy so far, you will notice your Fog's will look silly and yellow in comparison so I switched those out as well. The Fog's are also H11 bulbs.
I plan on eventually getting some projectors as the HID's in the halogen housings is technically...
I also ordered a pair of Toshiba HIR 9011 bulbs to replace the high beams as they are quite a bit stronger and I thought it would compliment all the HID lights a bit better.
For the low beams I did the Xtreme Phillips h11 kit for $265, and the fogs I did the cheaper Volt h11 kit for $120.
They have a 15% off today so total price shipped was $327.23
