    FS: 2000 SR5, 5-speed, 185k, $6000

It is, though I now am not selling. The car that I was planning on replacing it got sold the night before I was going to buy it. Sorry for the tease! It will probably be up for sale in a year or two at the most though. I'm trying to find an LR3. Wife wants comfort... Baby probably does too...

I just posted an ad for my 5 speed in Minneapolis. It's a great truck.

    FS: 2000 SR5, 5-speed, 185k, $6000

Thanks. I'd like to, but I want to price it to move. It will go up if the bumpers come soon enough.

    FS: 2000 SR5, 5-speed, 185k, $6000

Sometimes things change, and I've decided to move on from my 4runner. I bought it from the original owner a little over a year ago, and it came with a stack of dealer maintenance records. I have since driven about 40k and my needs are a little bit different now. I have done a bunch to the...

How bad of an idea is it???

That's what I thought. Anyone in MN want to do an axle housing modification!?

How bad of an idea is it???

I've read all the retrofit posts and stuff, and I'm about to do an elocker retrofit. Here's my question though, and it's not in any other posts... How bad would it be if I used JB Weld instead of actually welding material for the axle housing modification? It doesn't seem like it would be that...

Locking the rear of a DD 5 speed?

I think he meant if I went with a Truetrac or Grizzly, which are both carriers.

Locking the rear of a DD 5 speed?

I've been having a hard time finding a 4.10 rear around here, and I don't plan on going with bigger tires or messing with the front diff at all. I'm going to stick with 4.10. I'm pretty sure that I've decided to give the Aussie a try and see how it goes. If it isn't going to work out well...

Locking the rear of a DD 5 speed?

My biggest question about driving with it is about how much gas it takes before it locks. I've read that there is some buffer between using some room between smooth acceleration and locking of the diff.

Locking the rear of a DD 5 speed?

This is most similar to my current thought process. I've read almost nothing but good things about the Aussie, and it's dramatically less expensive. I like the idea of dual Truetracs, but they are more expensive, especially considering that I cannot do all of the install myself. I don't know...

Locking the rear of a DD 5 speed?

Yeah I think I could happily go with an aussie. I have a lot harder time finding more info on the Grizzly. It's supposedly even smoother and quieter, but I don't know. As for the use, the kind of travel I would do is definitely enough to warrant a locker. Auto lockers aren't locked 100% of the...

Locking the rear of a DD 5 speed?

300 for Aussie 565 for Grizzly Aside from not feeling at all motivated to do the axle housing modification for an e locker swap, I'm finding it difficult to find the 4.10 third with a locker. It's a little harder for us 5 speed folks. Additionally, I like the pure simplicity of the auto locker.

Locking the rear of a DD 5 speed?

I'm trying to build more for expedition travel than purely off road. That makes on road manners as important as off road capability.
