Don't take your rockers off just yet-- if you haven't ordered the sliders, they take a loooong time to arrive.

Finish The non-textured powercoat.

The rocker is off-- it has to be to make room for the slider. I used a small strip of chrome tape on the angled edge of the door because I (gasp) missed the look of the chrome. Here is another pic farther back and a closeup of the front part which, as you'll note, appears disappointingly...

I've read that Toyota has used the FJ Cruiser platform for the 5gen, so does that mean that any OEM parts will work under there?

Has anyone attempted to remove the flap to get at the foglights? I took off all the screws (and more) but there are clips that won't budge. I can't seem to get access to that area even after consulting the manual. Any ideas?

Ah, got it-- thanks. So it sounds like the Spidertrax spacer has both and would be the way to go as far as safety.

Sorry, what are hub and lug centric?

What's your opinion on wheel spacers for offroading? I kind of like the way they look if not overdone. Are there down-sides to having the wheels jut out like that when off and/or on-roading?

Has anyone replaced the stock muffler with something less restrictive or done anything else more radical to help improve gas mileage and performance yet?
