Getting off the flaps

Has anyone attempted to remove the flap to get at the foglights? I took off all the screws (and more) but there are clips that won't budge. I can't seem to get access to that area even after consulting the manual. Any ideas?

I was able to access my DRLs with pretty much no problem, and look like the fogs wouldnt be that much worse. But I didnt try only looked. I know, no help to you sorry...
