    New Paint/Wrap?

I've been inquiring about painting my truck too because of some scratches and clear coat fading, and ya I think where I am a good paint job with the "friend-of-a-friend" discount was in the ballpark of $5-6k. I've thought about just doing the roof and hood, but I think that would be too...

Interior Access to Rear Bumper Bolt

Update: Took the rear interior panel off yesterday and part of the interior bracket with the nut welded in place had rusted and broken off and just spinning in place. Took care of it with a dremel and replace with new nut, bolt, and washers. Also decided to clean and treat with rust converter...

Re-upholstered Leather Seats + Seat Heaters

If you're just looking for the leather, I found a guy on eBay (Wolfman Auto and Cycle) that makes synthetic stuff specifically for our generation 4runner. I installed bottoms and uppers on both front seats and it is great. I think it matches the factory perfectly.

Interior Access to Rear Bumper Bolt

Thanks for the response. Do you know if it is behind/under the storage compartment? I'm wondering if I could get underneath and find it as long as I don't have to pull the storage compartment.

Interior Access to Rear Bumper Bolt

I was taking my rear bumper and the extensions off and the bottom bolt of the bracket for the extensions is spinning on both. I was able to get the driver-side off because you can access the top of the bolt through the rear vent that is just under that extension. I had the same thing happen on...

    MountainBrew's 98 Build Thread

Great job so far. You've made a lot of progress in not much time. You basically bought the same truck as me, rust issues and all. I've learned a few helpful things though along the way: - Repeatedly soak everything in WD-40/PB Blaster before starting any work. - Keep a mixture of bolts in...

    Who is running: 9602RC-P - Toytec Rear 3-Inch Lift Coils (96-02 4Runner)

That's surprising. My OME 890s give me almost 4 inches then. I may be looking at the wrong springs then. I might have to do some more reading about the LC 7 wraps. Thanks for the info though. I'll still be curious to hear how they do for you.

**Rear Coil Spring Discussion - The Perfect 3rd Gen Rear Spring**

I hope I'm not ruining the initial discussion of the thread, but are the stock landcruiser coils progressive? I would really like a progressive coil in the back (I have no added weight) and in the 3-inch lift range. I have the 890s which are great, but might need a little more lift in the back...
