Interior Access to Rear Bumper Bolt

I was taking my rear bumper and the extensions off and the bottom bolt of the bracket for the extensions is spinning on both. I was able to get the driver-side off because you can access the top of the bolt through the rear vent that is just under that extension. I had the same thing happen on the passenger side and wondered if there is a way to access that bolt from inside the cargo area?

This is the extension that I am talking about. There are two bolts on top and one on the bottom that is spinning.

I was hoping someone might know before I tear the panel and cargo storage out and have all the clips break in the process.

There is access from inside, but you'll have to remove the Interior Trim panel to get access to that area. You are right that there is access on the driver side through the VENT, but as there is no vent on the Pass Side, you will have to remove the QTR Trim, or at least loosen it a lot, to gain access there.

Thanks for the response. Do you know if it is behind/under the storage compartment? I'm wondering if I could get underneath and find it as long as I don't have to pull the storage compartment.

The storage compartment comes out with the panel. It should take about 3 minutes to get back there...

I went and looked at my truck just to be sure. I have actually removed the storage compartment for my 4 channel amp, that is now blown. But you can see the gold nut going through the bracket I added for the amplifier. There is a 2nd one hiding behind the bracket I added there.

Update:

Took the rear interior panel off yesterday and part of the interior bracket with the nut welded in place had rusted and broken off and just spinning in place. Took care of it with a dremel and replace with new nut,bolt, and washers. Also decided to clean and treat with rust converter and rubberized undercoating. Then I followed up with some sound deadener I had left since somehow I missed that area. All good to go now.
