    Help: Sqeaking noise from suspension

Yes, uniballs to the knuckle. Poly bushing connecting the UCAs to the body. I'll check for squeaks while stopped, but I haven't noticed this before. I believe the noise is only when there's suspension movement. Yes, I'm anal about using torque wrenches. I did not do this for the first few...

    Help: Sqeaking noise from suspension

I installed dry and greased via the grease gun. I'll give your suggestion try in a week or two if I cannot figure anything else out.

    Help: Sqeaking noise from suspension

Hey guys, I have a squeaking noise that I cannot seem to get rid of. I suspect the noise is coming from the Total Chaos UCA bushing but greasing them up cannot seem to get rid of the noise. I talked to TC about it and they seemed to think that as long as the bushings were not visibly deformed...

Going Bigger - 5th Gen Tire Fitment Guide

Am I crazy for wanting to stop at 275/70/17s? I thought about 285s but was concerned about rubbing and poorer on road manners. I have a Toytec Boss 3/2" lift and TC UCAs. I commute 50 miles a day for work and put on about 17k miles a year - 99% is on pavement. Also body mount chop is a hard no.

    Another Toytec Boss Thread

To put this in another way... "You just benched 600lb, that's cute. I just reconnected KDSS bars." lol It really is that much of a pain.

    255/80/17 Picture Thread

Let's get a thread going with pictures of 255/80/17 tires on our 5th gens. ONLY PICTURES. There's already a ton of discussion on the tire size. Let's keep the discussion to a minimum.

    2016 TEP with hummingbird noise

So it seems like you can get the problem fixed, but there's a good chance that it will just come back. With as many vehicles as Toyota puts out, you'd think they could get this right.

    3" lift with stock tires?

Thank you for posting the picture. This is exactly what I needed to know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    3" lift with stock tires?

The only reason for lifting is more clearance and improved approach/departure. I'm intending on building a overlanding/camping rig. Hence the 255s and not 285s. My though is that if I put a 255/80/17 on with stock suspension then I will rub on turns (since the contact point would be more...

    3" lift with stock tires?

I don't believe 255/80/17 would fit with a lift. Am I wrong? And if they did, wouldn't that look ridiculous as well? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    3" lift with stock tires?

3" lift with stock tires? Would this look ridiculous? Thinking about putting on a lift (since that has to come before larger tires) and I don't feel the need to get rid of my stock tires yet. I plan on putting on Cooper St MAXX 255/80/17 in about 6mo-1yr. Thanks for input, and pics if...

    Larger rubber mud flaps

Flexible rubbers flaps might solve your problem.

    Larger rubber mud flaps

You said "Urethane plus" and "universal plus". The link you attached is also for the universal plus. I'm assuming you have the universal plus and not the Universal Urethane Plus? The universal plus seem like a good option. How's fitment? Any pics?

    Larger rubber mud flaps

Has anyone tried making a DIY rubber mud flap, similar to ones on Defenders? I'm particularly interested in the fronts being longer and wider. Gravel forest service road are destroying my rock sliders and I've even gotten a few small chips on my doors (probably from rocks hitting sliders and...
