Hey everyone, I am loving my new '18 Limited but want to lift the front just a little while keeping 1" or so of rake in the back. Since it has XREAS, which spacer will accomplish the front mild lift and fit 275/55/20 AT tires without the compromising the XREAS? Thanks so much!

The transmission started shifting violently, and loud clunks at times. The interior has 99% plastic which I knew going into the purchase, but after just a couple of weeks, the interior rattled like fireworks. Overall, it felt very cheap and I expected more out of a $66k truck. Therefore...

Just purchased a new '18 Limited. Sticker $46,100 and paid $42k. Traded in '18 GMC Denali with a bunch of equity, and OTD for $23k. Love my new black/black Limited. Ordered 275/55/20 BFG KO2's.

Luckily I don't live in the city, and my offices are located in easy to park areas. So, I don't have to worry about parking unless I relocate geographically. My biggest hang up is that sometimes in life we get things we really don't need, but want. The 4Runner is probably the more practical...

So, the truck's 4X4 is a part time system? I thought when you selected 4X4 it then becomes a full time system. Also, does the Takata air bag problem still exist on the '17 4Runners? The local dealer only has '17's in stock, and ironically 6 Limited's.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Either vehicle would be my daily driver. I am an engineer, so I don't really need a truck for commercial use, but it is handy every now and then for the occasional trip to lowe's. Of course, it has way more power but at 46, I really don't have a heavy foot...

So, if you could have either a new '17 4Runner limited or '18 Tundra platinum, which would you choose? No kids, no real need for a truck, but they are utilitarian. There is about a $7k sticker price difference, but the Tundra has a rebate and more markup, so the difference between the two...

I hate the suicide doors and prefer the traditional 4 door set up. The FJ is an awesome vehicle, but not for me.

"Sucking donkey balls" is really all that needs to be said :). I like the SC Tundra idea with Icon stage 6. Maybe a platinum with 35's. A good starting point for sure! I love the 4Runner, but during the weekends when I want to play, will I hate not having 500 hp?
