Where to put a floor jack under the front?

Do you crawl under the truck with it resting only on the jack? It that's the case you're a braver man than I am.

Where to put a floor jack under the front?

Mine do as well - doesn't seem to be an issue. DAYTONA 6 Ton Heavy Duty Ratcheting Jack Stands And yes, I know Harbor Freight has sold bad jack stands in the past. The above ones seem solid though.

Where to put a floor jack under the front?

Hence the jack stands... at least that's how I do it - lift one corner, place one jack stand, lift the other corner, place the other jack stand. I've used the stock bottle jack to change a flat tire, both on the trail and on solid surface. For the front I suppose it depends on how much lift...

    Positive Battery Post/Terminal Question

Looking at the pictures it seems the clamp holding the battery in place is pressing down on the ground cable. That's not right, recommend loosening the battery clamp and routing the cable outside the clamp/rod holding the battery down.

Does Limited 4wd have low range

You have these three modes: “H4F” (high speed position) “H4L” (high speed position, center differential locked) “L4L” (low speed position, center differential locked) It does not have a low range with center diff unlocked.

    Bought a Trailhunter

Congrats, it's a beauty! About auto stop/start - every hybrid will shut down the gas engine when it can, that's what they do. Not only when you're stopped at a red light, but also when you're coasting downhill or otherwise don't need the power of dead dinosaurs. You might have noticed that it...

No longer able to initialize the rear hatch window. What the heck did I break?

To follow-up, replaced the Back Door Rear Gate Window Motor and the Tailgate Power Window Regulator - still not able to initialize the rear window. I suppose that leaves just the ECU and the wiring harness next. Update: replaced the back door ECU, now I'm able to initialize the rear window and...

    Center Locking Diff Button Help

First thing I'd check would be to make sure the connector behind the switch is securely in place. Next thing would would probably be to see if a fuse is blown, not sure which one controls the center diff. If that looks ok, maybe check the button with a continuity tester, and the connector with...

No longer able to initialize the rear hatch window. What the heck did I break?

The mod I'm doing is different from the one in the youtube link above. Not following a tutorial, just building on this wiring diagram. The rear key lock on the hatch ("Tailgate Control SW" on the diagram below) isn't really a lock but just a switch that closes a circuit between ground from pin...

No longer able to initialize the rear hatch window. What the heck did I break?

Was wiring up a mod to pop the rear hatch and lock/unlock and roll up and down the rear window today. At some point I was able to do all of that using the new wires that I connected. But then I got myself into a state where I don’t seem to be able to initialize the rear window anymore. Here’s...

    Wet Rear Floorboard

If you suspect the sunroof you could always just get some wide electrical tape and tape over the sunroof seal. That way you could at least confirm or rule out that as the source of the problem. I tried to chase down a leak that left the front driver footwell wet, but had no luck on my own...
