I also have an '06 SR5, and my fuse box is also missing that relay.

I had a similar sound when the body flexed. Turned out that my roof rack cross rails weren't tight, so I torqued down the star nuts some. Noise gone.

I went a more basic route. A Kenwood DPX503BT, with XM, Bluetooth, Spotify, Pandora, etc. Pretty easy installation and sounds great!

Anyone see the lastest Annual Auto Issue? They didn't have the greatest review for the 5th Gen. Complained about fit and finish, clumsy handling, unsettled ride, body lean in corners, etc. etc. I'll stick with my awesome '06 4th Gen, thank you very much!!:trophy:

I've also experienced the problem where the left-hand side of the temperature display was half as dim as the right. Would clear up the next day. Also, my radio display had unreadable characters one day, then cleared up the next! Weird gremlins in there!!:wtf:

I agree with BlackWorksInc. When my son's 240sx wouldn't start due to a failed clutch interlock relay, it wouldn't even turn over. Could be something in the fuel injection area, like a intermittent relay. My two cents..

I bought the Yokohama Geolander AT/S's a year ago, and really like them. Have the standard size 265/65-17 for now since I don't have a lift yet, but they look pretty cool, don't rub anywhere and work great in the snow. Believe I paid about $170 for them.

I meant to comment on this yesterday, but didn't have time. I have the Hella 500's on mine using MOMO's procedure (thanks dude) and they're very bright. Mounted a separate switch to them so they're independent from the regular lights. Bought a Tacoma switch, since I wanted a clean looking OEM...

Wow.... only 19K on a 2006? That's really low mileage. When I bought my '06 SR5 used, in '07 it had 18K on it. Put 38K on it since then and its been awesome. Best truck I've ever owned. You won't be disappointed! V6 or V8?

I have a '03 Marin Rocky Ridge I bought new and still ride. An older Hardtail, but with high end components.

I have an '06 4.0 also, and it does the same thing. I found that if I just pop it in neutral at a light, I can just apply the same pressure to the brakes. Kinda annoying that it happens in the 1st place, but the work-around works for me.
