The nut is snug against the diff and it required a bit of muscle to get it there, so it hopefully doesn't go anywhere. But I'll check on it every now and then and keep your solution in-mind. Thanks!

It should be! I got it directly from a dealer using my VIN. Yeah I noticed when I pulled the old breather the first few threads after the tightening nut had a ton of rust so it must of been exposed.
