Kelly Tires? Hercules Tires? Waste of money?

A couple of shots of the Kelly's. I've run them in the mud, snow and rocky trail. No problems, good tire.

3rd bolt in tow hitch install?? hoooowww!!

The rear bolts that came with my Hide-a-Hitch had a thin wire coiled around the bolt with a 10" straightened section of wire, so you could insert the bolt in the frame, thread the nut then pull the wire out. Maybe even a coat hanger with one coil around the bolt would work. I hope that makes sense.

    Bubba rope; a few pics

I did a search and didn't see much so I thought I'd share a few pics. This is the Bubba rope 7/8" x 30' breaking strength 28,600 lbs. Bubba rope comes with a mesh Bubba bag. End loops are 12" long, approx 8" round when opened up. I haven't used it yet but when the time comes we're gonna...

    Toyota Website Question

This site still works for me. Toyota Owners Official Website: Service Coupons, Owners Manuals, Service Scheduling and More A good mechanic would indicate when the service was done with a sticker or marking.

painted limited fender flares pic request

Thanks, I also sprayed the rocker panels, which took a bit of prep work to tape and mask-off the bottom half of the doors and door openings. I sprayed the rockers with the doors in the open position and painter's tarps over the vehicle then tucked into the interior. Look forward to seeing your...

painted limited fender flares pic request

Gloss black would look good if done right with a clear coat. The spray-on bed liner gives a good, tough finish for the DIYer. A couple more pics of the Rusto-leum spray-on bed liner.

    Sr5SuShi's Build Thread

I love the tire/wheel combo. An ODL bumper will really make it look like a beast. Nice build thread, I wish I took more pics when I did mine. Did you add the E-locker?

    3rd Gen T4R Picture Gallery

Thanks guys. Yeah I should of spent a little more money and went with the synthetic line, I'm sure there will be an upgrade in the future. The Kelly Safari's run pretty good in the snow with minimal slippage especially with the damn traction control.

    22.0" of heavy snow

The Kelly Safari's 285 performed better than any other mud/snow tire I've owned.

How do you blur/twist license plate #'s so you can't read them?

Not really tech-savvy, at what point is this done to post a pic? Thanks.

Building Rear Bumper - Paint it with bedliner?

Just to clarify, I used the truck bed coating and not the Plasti-dip. The truck bed coating dries to a tough textured finish much like a Rhino-lined truck bed and the Plasti-dip dries to a flat rubbery coating that can be scratched or peeled with a fingernail. I heard that one spray-on bedliner...

Building Rear Bumper - Paint it with bedliner?

I sprayed my painted rear bumper, rocker panels, grill and fender flairs with the Rust-oleum spray-on truck bed coating. It has held-up well through trail use and repeated pressure washings (reasonable PSI). If the textured surface gets grimy, I use a soapy sponge or just recently I started...

    Yes the blue wire.

    Broken antenna motor (2000 4Runner)

I'm in the same boat, antenna is fully extended and the power antenna motor makes a grinding noise on start-up and shut-down. I snipped the hot wire to the power antenna motor then taped the ends. It's not a fix, but radio works fine and the noise is gone until I can do the whip mod. Ripcord's...
