AC Dash Control Panel Bulb Replacement

Can you remove one of the bulbs? That way you can see if it's soldered or not. And if it's not soldered, then you can go on a website like superbrightleds.com and find one with same base (plug) as yours. Also don't be scared of soldering, it's not dark magic.

200k+ miles 4th gens have you replaced your radiator?

Previous owner replaced the radiator on mine around 140k miles (not sure for what reason), car has 160k miles now. Granted I don't know all the quirks of 4th Gen 4R yet, but if they're prone to mixing coolant and transmission fluid, it might not be a bad idea to have it replaced. I'd...

    Squeak in Reverse

The easiest thing to try would be to just replace rear pads with new hardware.

P0430 pops up 200 miles after resetting the check engine ligths

They can crack from years of heat cycling.

Lights on dash but no error codes

It doesn't show codes because there are no OBD errors. You'd need one of the fancier scanners to read from all the modules.

    Banging/clunking noise after brake replacement

Just wanted to update this thread in case someone comes across it in future... Replaced parking brake shoes with all new hardware and noise went away. Will need to adjust the parking brake some more as it's not holding at all now. But at least noise is gone.

    What service for a 250,000mile V6 4th Gen

While the chains don't break often, tensioners and chain guides do wear out.

    Timing Belt Change

You should assume that any engine that has variable timing (i.e. VVTI, VTEC,etc). is a interference engine. Just to be on safe side.

    "Ignore" V6 head gasket issue?

Please don't use the head gasket sealer. It can work, sometimes, but whoever ends up rebuilding your engine is going to hate you for it, and if you're the one rebuilding it you'll hate yourself. It's * probably * ok to drive for a short time if it's a small leak like you say, but the longer...

    Banging/clunking noise after brake replacement

I'll have to keep that in mind. This is my first truck-ish vehicle, all others just had the regular disc brake in the rear.

    Banging/clunking noise after brake replacement

When I looked at them, they were down to about 50%, so if I go replacing hardware might as well do the shoes. Just weird that it started making the noise after i replaced pads and rotors. Must have pulled on the shoe a little when I was removing the rotor which put stress on the pin(s).

    Banging/clunking noise after brake replacement

Sounds like a good time. So maybe just best to order new brake shoes and hardware?

    Banging/clunking noise after brake replacement

Replaced pads and rotors on the 4R over the weekend. Went for a drive and there's a loud banging from the rear. Oddly enough, the noise disappears once you hit 20-25mph and it doesn't come back until the car is parked. It doesn't make the noise at any point during braking or normally driving...

    Exhaust shield hitting my driveshaft!

One thing I forgot to mention, maybe you could put a big clamp to hold it tight? Like one of those larger worm clamps for ducting.
