So I heard some rattling under my truck today and crawled underneath to find that the heat shield located above the exhaust system had come undone, so I removed it. Question.......Should I replace it? Will I be doing any damage if I don't? Thanks.

Finished this project today. Took about 4 hours. Very easy to do and I'm happy with the final result.

Got started today but managed to only get the rust off one caliper before I ran out of sanding pads :dammit: Hopefully have it done tomorrow.

Picked up the supplies today and hopefully I'll have them both done sometime tomorrow. Going with the black satin finish. I'll post pics when complete.

I just replaced both front calipers on my 05' Sport and already they are starting to rust and it's driving me nuts. Someone had suggested that I clean, seal and paint them in order to solve the problem. Has anyone done this to their calipers before? I'm looking at purchasing this kit High...
