    The two small holes are not threaded so cant use a bolt to push back. One other guy said keep hitting it with a hammer while it is spinning but the rotor won't turn. Frustrated- need to get the rotor off

    Does the center piece need to be removed first CCW or should the rotor just slide off around it?? On rear brakes.

    yes the rear caliper slide pins- and to loosen is counter clockwise correct? Not dumb they are just reversed so making sure.

    Doing my first brake job on my 04 4 runner- how do you get the 17mm bolt pins to break loose and turn without stripping the heads? I've tried socket and wrench and hammer.
