Did you ever contact bajarack a about the insert. I’m in dire need of the insert for my standard rack because I need the mounting point for their crossbars. I hope they’ll still make the insert on request

Has anyone tried the gobi crossbars on the Baja standard rack. I’m not a big fan of the crossbars by bajarack because they need to mount to the floor of the rack. The gobi crossbars make so much more sense by mounting to the side rails. I’m hoping they may fit the Baja.

Does anyone know if the Gobi axe/shovel mount will work on the standard Baja rack? I purchased the bajarack mount and it seems more difficult to use than the Gobi mount

Bajarack ladder scraping I followed the instructions and still find the top rubbing. It’s the right corner that rubs and I’ve moved the ladder a bit over the the left and it rubs less but has not completely resolved.

Do you guys think if I had a choice it would be better to get the rack woh the bars over the mesh?

Baja assured me that both versions are built well and durable. I’m just wondering what benefit he mesh has over the bars other than standing in here?

I’m getting the basket type Bajarack with sunroof cutout. From what I see, the ones with crossbars have more bares in a horizontal fashion. With the mesh floor there are a lot less bars and the mesh sits on top of those bars. I don’t see how it can be stable by attaching to the mesh. Also people...

So I’ve paid for a Baja standard rack with sunroof cutout and mesh floor. I’ve been thinking about this and am confused how you would attach anything to the mesh floor such as a tent. Isn’t he mesh floor too flimsy for heavy attachments? Baja does sell cross bars but they don’t seem to run...
