I am looking for anyone who I could pay to modify the wiring harness I have from a '00 4runner with the 3.4L. I will be putting the 3.4 liter engine in place of the 3.0 in my '92 4runner. If there is anyone out there I could pay to modify my 3.4 liter harness I would apreciate it.
I have some of those slow issues as you describe. I live in denver ,co and have 31's on my '92 runner with the 3.0L . I made a cold air intake and it helped a little but I think the problem lies in my plugged cat and rusted muffler. My vehicle has 237k on it also.
Well I figured a few things out and I am going to start digging away at a yota I spotted in the junkyard. Also I am toying with the idea of fabbing in a supercharger.

Just wondered how hard it would be to swap in a 3.4 L in place of the 3.0L ? Would it be easier to put the 3.4 L block in and put 3.0L heads on it? Would they bolt up? Looking for a little more power and wondered if this is a feasible thing to do? I know my way around engines pretty good so a...
Thanks for the info on the isr removal. I agree with you that on most cars after you remove that it does help quite a bit. I am fabbing a cold air inlet for it with cone filter adapter. Also I have a msd blaster ss coil I am going to install along with the msd wires. Exhaust will be soon to...
I have a '92 4runner that I just purchased. Looking to get a little more power out of the 3.0L V6. I am pretty familiar with the older 22re engine but new to this engine. Any pointers would be great. I am mostly a subaru junky but this should be a fun change of pace.
This is my first post so...
