Yep, i was just planning on a pull the drain plug, measure and refill the couple of quarts that come out, was just curious if it's ok to refill it with the Max Life instead of the WS Fluid

Victor... you nailed it wire was indeed broken (you think Toyota could have spared 1" as not to turn the wire 90 deg.) ordered the wire and pin, replaced pin soldered wire /shrink tube and electrical tape reset computer and codes are gone now for 3 weeks... passed inspection as well I LOVE...

since i got mine in june i suspect i got an old parts # dash, however old one lasted 10 years so i'm not too concerned. but it matches perfectly i suspect the color mix on the "new" dashes is off from what it was 10 years ago

trust me this works.... remove screw on right side of glovebox and drop out of the way, using a phillips head screwdriver loosed whichever screws you can access on the servo, next snug them back down, it will stop that clicking/gurgling noise mine was the servo at the top about even with top...

I agree completely had my new dash in 2 months ago I think most dealerships are giving a run around, and honestly if it's a direct replacement I could care less it's an 05 with 160k never thought I would get a new dash at all so I'm very happy
