So I got my truck back and I found the shop used seam sealer taper rather than the liquid like the factory on the new liftgate. It’s already not sticking in some spots. I’m not happy. I see the tape is an option, but I would prefer the liquid like OEM. Thoughts?

When blending the paint of a new liftgate around the sides they pulled the rear quarter windows out to make sure the paint is smooth around the window area. Never would have guessed that's a thing to do.

1F7 is close, but not exact. The valances are slightly darker than the rest of tbe silver. I've used 1F7 touch up from my truck on the valances...I can see a difference.

Well a little update on my tailgate saga. The insurance inspector came out today and agreed that it needed new everything and to start over at square one. New estimate shows everything (shell, glass, trim parts etc). Only concern is the tailgate shell is listed as OE surplus and is about $30...

Well, I guess I can answer my own question. Part number 76625-35240 and 76626-35240 from the Limiteds look to be identical to the liner needed, just without the mud flap part hanging down. So I ordered them. See how they fit and report back.

I’ve searched, but can’t find a definitive answer. I’m trying to do the mud flap delete and know the Limited has the rear liner that doesn’t hang down. Will this fit on the Trail models or am I stuck trimming the flaps I have?
