To clarify I used Lucas' Transmission Fix, not Stop Leak. A good friend swears by the stuff and I figured what the hell...try it and see.

I feel a little silly, the EGR code was caused by my failure to reconnect the EGR leads after changing the plugs. As for the transmission, I checked the ATF and it was pretty dark so I cycled three gallons of fresh Dexron III through it and added bottle of Lucas Stop Leak...it drives MUCH...

Thanks a bunch for the reply. I looked at the wiring troubleshooting guide it would appear the relay is the one common item to the washers and rear wiper not working. I will start with the relay and go from there. now the question is, where do I find the part number for this magic piece?
