when i have the start / starter problem where there is nothing when you turn the key, everything else seems to work electronically. the windows go up and down without hesitation. the radio works, all the normal lights on the dash come on like normal when you turn the key.

well it sounds like my theory was spot on. it should be spot on since I spent 1k at the dealership. other things were needed, not just a faulty injector you got out cheap :)

very easy to take apart and put back together. frankly pretty much everything like valve cover gasket replacement any many other things on this 3.4L is easy to do. My 4runner has about 250,000 miles on it. I can't bring myself to get rid of it because it runs great and is easy to work on.
