19 years.....Bought my '02 in '05 with about 60k. 2 years ago i gave it to my son when he turned 16 - has over 320,000 miles on it and is in great shape. Maintenance and tender loving care is the key.

Just hit 250,000 on my 2002 SR5. We celebrated by ordering a new timing belt / water pump kit to install this summer. Looking forward to the next 250k

I've notice this also in the past few months - a kind of air sucking sound followed by a click - even when the a/c or defrost is off.

I've had my 2002 4runner for 10 years - got a great deal on the rig with 75k - since then I now have 243k and this baby has only been touched by a "professional" mechanic one time.....and only then to press in some new u-joints. I have done all of the basics as needed....timing belt, water...

one thing...so Iv'e taken this off and on several times - I triend moving the levers this motor is attached to and found that it takes considerable more force to move the lever to the "hot" position. when moving it back to "cold" it is very easy. is this normal? Maybe my servo is working fine...

I'm having the same issue...I found the actuator motor - passenger side, under glove box to the left. if you turn on the car and move the switch from cool to hot the arm should be moving to open and close the blend door attached to a cable. I took mine off with three screws and opened it up...

I have a 2002 2WD and tow a pop up camper several times a year. Can anyone reccommend an upgrade shock for the rear? I only see a slight sag when I'm towing - I've looked into the spring assist bags but dont' know if any of the options are worth it. any help would be appreciated.

I checked this out originally and found that all of the conections were tight - I spoke with a Toyota parts person who had me replace the accessory fuse under the hood - did not work - still stuck without power on these plugs.

on my '02 there are 2 accessory plugs below the radio and then one in the back buy the storage compartment. One day they just stopped working......is there a separate fuse for these? I cant figure it out because the cig lighter still works Any help would be appreciated. Dave in Austin
