Maybe it's an SE thing? All I know is I have lumbar, seat tilt, forward/back, and recline adjustments, but no outright up/down. Huh, so maybe it's just a Limited feature? That would be obnoxious, but good to know at least. I'll try to find that mod/build thread, too, thanks.

I'm looking at 5th gens because the headroom on the 4th gens is terrible. I'm only 6'1", but my head brushes the ceiling, and Toyota apparently thought being able to adjust the seats downward was unnecessary.

Personally, I felt like my 265-70's looked a bit small with a 3" lift. But it's 100% subjective. I just like the look of stuffing as much tire under it as you can.

I saw that white 4Runner on IG, it looks rad! I want to see a few more... tempted to do mine, but I think it really only works on white/black/silver rigs. Not sure how it'd look on SRP.

Definitely depends how fast you drive and how heavy your foot is. I don't go much above 70-75 on the freeway, and have a fairly light foot (but I drive a lot in the city, and a lot of mountain passes.) I average between 16-20 overall, higher end being in the summer. 3" lift, 33x10.5 tires.

They actually don't let you live downtown unless you have a Prius, so it was kinda mandatory. ;) Cool, I've looked at the TYC ones on Amazon, or going with the Spyder ones which are already blacked out. Just have been curious about the quality of the optics in them.

Looks good! The 06 headlight swap is probably next on my radar after sliders. Did you go with OEM housings? Right on, thanks! My Prius (cue lol'ing) has factory LEDs and I really like them... wouldn't mind similar on the 4Runner.

255/80/17 Coopers went on this morning. So far so good. Love how they look... definitely a good bit taller than the 265/70/17 Terra Grapplers, and more aggressive. So far they're quiet and smooth. Should get to test them in the snow next week!

Snow is the devil. But it's also fun... I learned it's mostly fun with 4-8 Maxtrax, shovels, and at least one winch in your party. :D

What LED headlights are you going with? (Assuming you mean LED bulbs) 18's definitely seem to have fewer tire options. I think 16" is kind of the ideal size for tire choices, just doesn't work with the Sport brakes.

That size only comes in one radius AFAIK, but they're 255/80R17's. You can also find some 255/85R16's, though.

Hahah, dat dad joke. :D (I'm sad I didn't think of that joke on my own...) Ideally I would've liked to just replace the one, but my TG's had about 40 months of driving on them - maybe 30-35k miles - and while they're wearing really well, I felt like the safest bet was replacing all of them...

I was lucky enough to drive over a razorblade (literally) at 70mph, over mountain pass with no shoulder to pull off on. So that's neat. On the plus side, might as well replace all the tires!

Sorry, not sure if this was mentioned yet, but where did you find the trim pieces for under the headlights? Did you find them painted?
