PS Pump was needed before this power outage. It had been groaning and making a terrible noise. It was a separate repair that just so happened to have the battery fail at the same time.

PS Pump installed and bled. New battery installed. Seems to be all good again. Thanks for info everyone!

Like stated above^ Took the battery to get tested and it was donezo. Installing a new PS pump today anyways, so once it's put together I'll come back with updates. Still puzzled that the battery would through all the relays and electronics for a loop. But I guess I'll know the answer once a new...

Took the battery to Autozone this morning. Battery was toast. Could tell is was going to be the culprit once I got the battery retaining bolts off and there was corrosion. Getting a new one put in after I install a new PS pump. Will come back with updates afterwards.

Which is why all of this is so puzzling to me.

Figured it out! Just a massive air bubble in the line. Just needed patience and 100 more pumps!

It was definitely the "duh, obvious." Wasn't patient enough and just had a HUGE air bubble on the driver front. Thanks for pitching in on the mystery!

Not sure how to tag all that responded. But I figured it out. Turned out to be a HUGE air bubble in the line on the front driver side. Sounded like a firework when the air was being released! But to solve it I went very slowly and was extremely thorough. So happy to have her back on the ground...

Haven't noticed any leaks as all tires are off so I can inspect as the "pumping" is going on. Doing one or two releases of air and then checking MC to make sure fluid is at appropriate level. Everything was fine till the front brake, I just don't get it...

Thanks for that! I am now between 255/80/17 (E) or 285/70/17 (SL). The difference is 2 lbs, but I may like having a stronger sidewall and a little taller tire. May just flip a coin and see how it goes. Worse case I get the other size next time!
