My 1998 manual has a terrible squeak when I press the clutch lever. In looking at the mechanism I can't tell if it is a bushing issue or the spring. Does anybody have a suggestion?
I have a 1998 (with the running boards thrown away) and would like to add some good mud flaps up front. Something that looks like the OEM rear but will not interfere with rock sliders (leaning towards Savage w/kickout) if there is any wisdom to guide me it will be appreciated.
my new '98 is leaning to the left about 1.5", did new Old Man Emu shocks and springs -no change. The lean appears to be body only, not the frame. In addition the rear end is shifted left about an inch also. Any suggestions?
How large of a spare tire will fit under my '98 4Runner? I am looking at getting another factory wheel and then buying 5 tries. I will rotate all 5 around the truck but need to go with the largest tire that will fit in the spares location. Thank you for any and all input.
Do I need to be worried about getting a 3rd Gen with Stability control and Traction control? Will I be able to turn it off? Will it hinder off road driving? How about loss of fun because you can't do a donut? Any comments welcome.
My 1995 is rusting to death, looking for a Gen 3. I need help deciding on a year that is best for off-road driving. Should I be worried about an Automatic Transmission? I welcome any suggestions. Thank you.
