Squeaky clutch lever

My 1998 manual has a terrible squeak when I press the clutch lever. In looking at the mechanism I can't tell if it is a bushing issue or the spring. Does anybody have a suggestion?

The spring eats through the bushings and squeaks. Might be to the point your clutch lever needs replacing because it will eat into the metal there too.

Bushings are cheap on-line. About 10$. I think the lever is around $50.

Edit: If you call 1sttoyotaparts.com and talk to Darryl he'll know all the parts you need. Just give him your VIN number. Real nice guy and willing to help. Shipped same day for me.

I reached under my dash with a few targeted shots of anti-sieze. I'm sure I'll need new bushings, soon, but in the meantime the clutch works and it's quiet.
