Help Needed - Final Stages of Wiring Aux Lights to OEM switch

Well, I guess that is offensive. Im glad I could amuse you, I guess. I installed Hella 700s, converted them to HIDs, and ran all of the wiring for the relay in factory looms/paths to an OEM switch so that the entire thing looks like factory. There is no such thing as a "4Runner OEM Switch"...

Handgun holster mod in a 4R?

It isnt immediately handy, but I keep an old, beat up, 2nd Gen G17 in the hidden compartment in the glovebox with the glovebox locked. It fits perfectly, and I feel like it is secure there. Even if someone broke into the car and got into the locked glovebox, I doubt a thief would know about...

2006 - Pre-wired for seat heaters? Power seats?

I was installing Aux lights on my car last night and noticed some unused wiring harnesses under the center console. Specifically, there was a white connector (6 pin, I believe) that was part of the bundle that powers the 12v plug in the ashtray. I also noticed a connector further back on the...

Help Needed - Final Stages of Wiring Aux Lights to OEM switch

I am installing some Hella 700FF lights using the OEM FJ aux light button/wiring harness. I have almost everything done, but need to find power sources for two wires. The FJ button requires power for illumination and power for the button itself so that it can send a signal to the relay for the...

Group buy: 4th gen 4runner LED kits

I am interested in your interior LED conversion. I would like to replace all of my overhead lights AND my door/courtesy lights with LEDs. I didnt see an option for the door/courtesy lights in the first post. Do you offer that as part of your conversion? Is there an added cost?

Is the 285 really worth the hit in mpgs, opposed to the 275?

I am running 285/70/17s on my V6 T4R. I average about 17.5 mpg (combined) now vs. about 19 mpg (combined) when stock. I also added a 3 inch lift and 200+ lbs of ARB bumper and Warn winch when I added the tire. Honestly, I think aerodynamics of the lift/bumper hurt the mileage as much as the...

4th Gen: OME Med and heavy duty coils question.

I have OME heavys up front (with ARB winch/bumper) and OME mediums in the rear. It is just a little too stiff for me. If I could go back and do it again, I would put mediums up front with the 5mm spacers. It still rides better than our other cars (S2000 and GTI).

    New Guy - ARB/OME 4RUnner - some questions.

I Figured it out!!!!! It turns out that the bumper was contacting the upper OEM bumper mounts beneath the headlights. They are thin stamped steel pieces that bolt on and run underneath the headlight between the fender mount and the radiator support. The ARB mouting arm was runnbing the edges...

    New Guy - ARB/OME 4RUnner - some questions.

Hi all, I am a long time lurker, first time poster. I recently purchased a CPO 2006 4Runner SR5 4WD. I had the local 4x4 shop install an ARB bumper, Warn M8000, OME lift, ATX Mojave Wheels, and 285/70/17 Terra Grapplers. Unfortunately, I am having some issues, and hoped y'all could give me...
