Help Needed - Final Stages of Wiring Aux Lights to OEM switch

I am installing some Hella 700FF lights using the OEM FJ aux light button/wiring harness. I have almost everything done, but need to find power sources for two wires.

The FJ button requires power for illumination and power for the button itself so that it can send a signal to the relay for the lights (I want to use switched power for that wire).

(1)(a) I have run the main power wire over to the fuse panel by the driver's left knee. I just need to know which blank I can use on that panel for switched power.

(1)(b) However, If there is not a blank for switched power at the fuse panel location, I could also tap into the power for the DAC switch (which is next to the switch I am installing). In fact that would be the easiest way to do it. Is there any problem asking the DAC switch's power supply to also be the power supply for my Aux light switch?

(2) As for the illumination wire, I plan to tap into the DAC switch. The DAC switch has 4 wires. I just need to know which one is illumination.

glad you figured it out. sorry but the title of this thread made me LMAO (the 'final stages' part) because the 4Runner OEM switch only has 3 plugs and is really simple.


EDIT: no offense was intended. I just meant that saying "final stages of installing fog light switch" is similar to starting a post titled "final stages of oil change; be back in 20 minutes" to me it is funny.

Still no pictures or details btw.

Well, I guess that is offensive. Im glad I could amuse you, I guess.

I installed Hella 700s, converted them to HIDs, and ran all of the wiring for the relay in factory looms/paths to an OEM switch so that the entire thing looks like factory.

There is no such thing as a "4Runner OEM Switch" for Aux lights for a 4th gen, so I have no idea what you are talking about with "only 3 plugs." The FJ switch has 6 wires and 3 circuits. One for the relay signal, one for illumination, and one for the activation light.

Im sorry that it seemed laughable to you, I am kinda proud of it.
