I know this is an old post, but is it possible to just replace the brake booster pump in a 2010 LTD? The dealer wants to replace the entire MC unit, I think it is only my booster pump that has a leak.

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't sure if Toyota had some kind of proprietary scanner or not.

I know people have talked about this on the forum, but what is the right scanner I need to buy for the 4runner?

In case anyone is interested: Toyota makes you buy the entire servo motor assembly as a single piece for around $500. Then you have to dismantle part of the dash to install it (they wouldn't quote me a price for that :) All for a single motor on the driver's side that I can unscrew and reattach...

It is a duel zone, but I wonder why the part number is different. I think I may take it to the dealer I go too and have them give me an estimate, that way I can get the part number from them. Also, the passenger zone is working fine, I think I only need one. Thanks for the picture, is that one...

I think my blend motor is going out on the driver's side panel by the accelerator pedal. It is making a weird noise. I can't seem to find one for the 2010 4R. Thanks for any help!!

Do you notice the amp meter fluctuate when the sound is made? That would be the booster repressurizing. Mine makes that same electro mechanical sound when: shutting the door and first starting the engine; a slight sound about 15 ft after first moving forward; and then when I park, turn off the...

Can you try to maybe take the jack and components out and see if the "clunk" is still there to narrow it down. Then maybe take off the spare and see if you still hear a noise? Sometimes process of elimination will narrow it down.

I got my LTD in 2010 and have 104k on it.
