I notice a higher theft rate for 4runners lately. Its become more popular than when i first got into it a decade ago. Just looki g for some thoughts on a quick release steering wheel.

The ones i posted are made for the 3rd gen. Its not fab. I got a hold of bushwacker and they do not make pocket style fenders for the 3rd gen model 4runner. But i got a hold of this company who does and its gonna cost about $600 to ship out of south america

I got a contact from brazil. These fenders are from brazil!! Damn. 1,200$ not including shipping and any other taxes required. State tax etc... Im guessing after everything it may cost close to 2 ,000$.

The floor jack with something to jack the oil pan trick did the job. Jacked it up a couple inches from front of oil pan. Got underneath and some minor lifting and it fell out. Next is getting that oil pan off. That sealant is tough. I'm cuting and prying at it and it ain't budging. With just...

My 3rd gen 4runner is at 301k and am doing some minor repair( just cause I want to) but no engine or tranny work. My pops 3.4 Tacoma is at 380k and still a daily work truck Good engines I say.

I meant by the steering joint where the shaft connects to. If you meant the rack and pinion, no I didn't. How or is there any other wY, not to move the rack. I read post n some said it just falls right out. Bulls*++!!

Everything is off/ disconnected. Hose, actuator, driveshaft,cv, steering colum. It's a one piece just hanging by the the tranny. I can't get it to pass that point. If I rotate change positions it seem there's not enough space. Pos thing is frustrating. Been at it all day with that single...

I'm removing the front diff to get to the oil pan cause it's leaking from the front side of the pan. Removed everything to where the diff is hanging but DAMN! I can not get the diff to come out. It is getting stuck between the steering colum and tranny. I wiggle it the opposite the hex screw...
