Sounds like you're having the same issues with iOS5+Nav that I had with iOS4+no Nav unit. All I can say is that I know your pain....

Yup. Although I prefer to use BT and leave a wall charger in the center console on the AC jack.

With iOS 5 my iphone4 plays nice with the no-NAV head unit... finally. Edit: with Bluetooth, that is. Previously the head unit and phone would not finish their handshake. It got halfway through so that my phone would start up the ipod app and begin playing. The connection would then fail...

There is a fix for this, if you can search for it. IIRC it involves holding the recirculate button for some amount of time to change its default behavior.

I get the same creep at the stop light. My foot pressure "feels" the same, and it's too infrequent (and dangerous in traffic!) to pull out the scale. After a few wake up calls from creeping forward, I've made it practice throw it into neutral if I have to look away while stopped. On inclines...

Thanks for starting another TE vs. Ltd thread :) Seriously though, do the procedure where you list pros and cons of each. I did that for the 3 models and came out with a TE. Like others have said, they will likely snatch your deposit. Yeah but it blocks drool like a champ :bigok:

Hi, I'm looking for different options to carry a few (4-5) jerry cans of gas and water, either by strapping them to a roof rack or by using a hitch mount, for use on long beach camping/fishing trips. What's your preferred method to carry jerry cans on your 5th gen?

For hauling dirty stuff like mulch or topsoil, I use a heavy duty tarp that I bought at the hardware store for $20. It folds up when not in use and has lots of other uses too.

My stock TE averages right at 20mpg when driven 70/30 hwy/city. The split is in terms of miles driven, not time. The lowest mpg was 17mpg and that was with almost all city driving.

They matched the lowest I could find on the internet: 2.99% at the time. I saw 2.49% online the other day. Shoot for that if 0% doesn't work out :)
