what interest rates are you guys getting on your 2011 4 runners?
I am looking at 60 month term.

Does toyota ever run incentives for the 4 runner?

I just bought mine about a month and a half ago...The dealer said the lowest they can give me is 2.9%. I said that i will buy one today if you give me 0% for 60 months. They did (of course i have almost perfect credit and was ready to walk out if they did not give it to me).

Wow 0% for 60 months. I'm not sure if we can do the same trick up here in Canada even though one have high credit rating.

Care to comment Canadians out there :)

I got mine for 3.9% for 60 months. This rate was since March and interested to see what will be the interest rate for the coming months after what happened to Japan recently.

I had a 4.3% for 60 months. But then I decided I didn't want payments, so I paid it off in 12 months instead.

Sorry that was for a 2010 last year so that probably doesn't apply lol.

They matched the lowest I could find on the internet: 2.99% at the time.

I saw 2.49% online the other day. Shoot for that if 0% doesn't work out :)

Toyota never offers incentives for vehicles like the 4Runner...at least I have never seen one. I am really surprised to hear that they gave 0% for 60 months, even with a high credit rating. I have beautiful credit and they would not budge anything lower than 3.25%. Signed those lease terms and re-financed my loan with my personal bank at a rate of 2.65% for 60 mos right after my first payment to TFS.
Like most things at the stealership, interest rates are negotiable so be prepared to play ping pong for a little while during negotiations.

Good luck!

Hahaha oh really what bank did this Toyota dealer use to get a 0.0% rate? lol I'm sorry I can't stop laughing!

If you have excellent credit and depending on the specials the banks are doing at the time of your purchase your looking between 2.65%-2.90%

Also the Toyota dealer will shop the rate for you since they usually work with 10+ different banks.

Got my 2011 @ 2.75%. It was 3.5-3.75. But I had finance with Toyota before (my mom's car), perfect credit, and 20% down, so they knock it down to 2.75. Like Rob said, me too have never seen any financial special with the 4R and I've been looking at rates for about a year before I purchase my 4R.

Perhaps you can shop around for rates at your local bank and/or credit union. I am sure it'll be easier to get lower rates with someone whom you already have relations with.

My guess is that you left some money on the table, and they used it to buy down the interest rate.

i have great credit, but only $3k to put down. i will be happy with anything less than 4%. will report back after my visit to the dealership at lunch...

My loan is through 'Toyota Financial Services'. All Toyota dealers here advertise 0% on all cars except for the 4Runner and the Land Cruiser. I was initially going to buy the FJ, because of the advertised 0%, but i thought i should give it a try since i have nothing to loose. I went to a different dealer and like i already said above, told the dealer: "I will buy this 4Runner right now if you give me 0% for 60 months". Also, i paid 300$ less than the invoice and i convinced them to throw in free auto dimming mirror and the cargo mat. Actually, when they agreed to 0%, i offered them 1000$ below invoice...they did not like that too much, but he knew i was serious and he was ready to negotiate (of course every time i made a subsequent offer, he made it sound like i am robbing him). After about and hour we finally agreed on terms described above. My concept is - make you offer much lower than you are willing to pay, because the dealer will never agree to it and will make excuses how to make you pay more. Also, make your offers in small increments but dont sound like you are just wasting their time. Bottom line is - they will make money even if you pay less than invoice and you are looking to get the best deal for yourself, not them. Hope this helps.

I bought mine with a special they were running, 2.9% on and Toyota Certified Used vehicle with 690 or better credit. It was supposed to end on 4/4/11 but I'm pretty sure that was extended recently. Not sure what that means for new vehicles, but it should be close.

And no, i did not put any cash down. I did trade my 2009 civic in for the exact kkb trade-in value (good condition). Btw, i had the civic listed online in multiple places for 6 months and only got 2 offers, each almost 1000 less than the Toyota dealer gave me.

I bought mine in December and got 1.9% for 60 months from NFCU. Dealership couldn't match it and were surprised at the low rate. 0 percent would have been nice.

I'm surprised he got 0% as well, maybe he paid more for the vehicle upfront to offset the interest rates? Who knows. I got my SR5 for like $4K less than another dealership in the area, and mine has more features. The one dealership tried to screw me and said it was their "sales price". Who's the sucker now. Anyway, I knew i could get 2.99% somewhere, and i thought i could get it at the dealership, as the sales guy said no problem. Long story short: perfect credit $14K down, was assigned 5.50 APR through TFS. I was pissed initially, but decided to go ahead and sign the paperwork because i knew i could refi somewhere else. Which i'll talk about below...

Bought mine new last month. Financed with TFS @ 2.85% for 60 mos.

Even though 2.85% is a great rate, i'll go ahead and mention it. Pentagon Federal is offering 2.49% for 60 months if you refi online. Online only. I did this a few weeks ago.....

For you other guys, not everyone can join Pentagon Federal, but, they have a list of like 10 different ways that you can qualify to join for free. Or you can pay a one time fee of like $15 bucks.

Good luck
