Been there. In my case - did the head gasket and then it turned out to be a hairline crack in the head.. Please don't make the same mistake I did..

I have the need for a roof top tent for a couple of weekends in 2024 Anyone nearby have one in good shape that they are thinking about selling? I don't really know much about roof top tents - can they be mounted the the stock cross bars?

You can now add me to this list. The 2 fobs I have lock the doors pretty much every time but the unlock only work every now and then. With both fobs doing the same - I have to believe the issue is elsewhere. (No alarm - just original fobs)

Both of my fobs are doing exactly the same thing - so that leads me to believe its the receiver - I just don't know where that's located.

When I press the unlock button - 75% of the time I get no beep and the door don't unlock. In the 25% of the time when the doors do unlock I get the beep. Same with lock - when it does lock it also beeps. Do you know where the box is?

Checked the dome lights and they are working fine. Both of my remotes work about: 75% of the time to lock the doors 25% of the time to unlock the doors They see to work best when close to the driver's door.

I'll check. I usually have the dome light switched off - so I probably wouldn't notice if it was not working properly.

I have 2 key fobs - both with new batteries and the lock function works most of the time but the unlock only works occasionally. Where is the receiver located? And does anyone know what the part number is for the receiver?

I'm not putting too many miles on my 4Runner these days - but it will be time to put a new Supercharger Belt on soon. Having trouble finding PTR30-35040 has it been discontinued? And if so, what is the recommended alternative? Thank you
