Bought these for my 03 but never installed them; sold the truck. They were only taken out of the box for pictures. Just found then when cleaning out the barn! $30/obo, $10 should cover shipping, and of course local pickup is free (48428). Thanks!

Are the Scion Nav units plug & play with non-jbl systems?

Talked to the volvo service tech... he said they be replaced both front axle shafts and boots, and the lower steering shaft & boot... re greased everything, and performed an alignment. it was an irritating adventure, to be sure, but in the end I got the better deal.

Yeah, no kidding. I'm giving my salesman the benefit of the doubt; he said that as far as he knew, his mechanics did the inspection and found nothing, and he didn't see the inspection report from the Toyota dealership. Now, i DO believe that the Volvo Manager knew the issue & was hiding it...

So, I had posted that my PS was acting up, and going in and out... There would be varying degrees of "heaviness" on the wheel when turning, to the point of feeling like I had NO power steering whatsoever. Even after a flush, there wasn't a difference. So, I finally took it to the stealership...

Test drive it to a Toyota dealership, and have them inspect it. Well worth the $100... it will either point you in the direction of buying it, or walking away. :twocents:

don't forget, you always have the option of taking it to a toyota dealership, and for around $100, they'll do an inspection for you. I recently bought my 03 4 runner from the volvo dealership, which is part of a huge auto group, owning toyota as well, 2 doors down from the volvo dealership. I...

I may know someone that might be selling their '03 Limited v8 4x4 89,5xx miles heated leather JBL soon... I think he's gonna be asking right around $13,500/obo - and it will have brand new steering & front-axle components. just sayin' :guitar2: not to thread jack or anything :biggrin2:
