First of all make sure you have enough grounds on the motor and the transmission. If there is sufficient ground, then it's the solenoid in the transmission that is bad. You will have to pull the pan on the transmission, and replace or repair the solenoids. Hope this helps Mike

I'm in houston. I donno about the place you bought that motor from, but around here they run for $900-$1000 with about 60K miles. Like i said My old motor had over 250,000 miles and it still ran good, I just needed more power for towing! Mike
