I was thinking it's Canadian too. It has canada on all the patches under the hood but has Cali emissions equipment and speedo is in mph. Anyone know how to disable it if it is canadian? Johnny

So I tried unplugging the black box next to the battery but that made my headlights not turn on at all. Tired looking at the DIY's but nothing clear for 99's. Any ideas or links? Thanks! Johnny
