    V8 conv. on my '92 SR5 4x4

Wow, grave dig. Yeah mate, both businesses in Oz are still making bellhousings to suit the 1uzfe to the 4runner gearboxes. These two company's do them. Home - Dellow Conversions Castlemaine Rod Shop I'm not sure what wiring is available these days, but you could try Sideshows Performance...

Why isn't there a V6 embalm in the grille of my SR5 V6?

Might be an aftermarket grill.....I fitted a chrome after market grill to mine and it didn't have a spot for the V6 badge that was fitted to my original grill.

    Aggressive Tires for my 4Runner?

I recently had 315/75 R17 Mickey Thomson MTZ's fitted to my 2nd gen and I love them......very smooth ride for an agressive tyre, and have performed awesome offroad so far too!! Have only done about 5000kms on them so far, but they look like they'll wear pretty good!

    V8 conv. on my '92 SR5 4x4

Should consider a Lexus 1UZ-FE V8 conversion too.....a lot lighter and modern motor (still toyota too) and bellhousing kits are available (from Oz) to mount it up to the std, 5 speed which is more than capable of handling the extra power. Once installed they look like they came from the factory...

Nah, since I originally had the 3.0l V6 it already has the stronger tranny, so just got an adpater kit to bolt of the Lexus V8 to it......everything else seems to be coping fine with the extra power.

Glad you's all like it :D With the 35's on the 4runner, it actually does still 'just' fit.....but since we are living at the mother in laws while we save for a house deposit, the garage is usually full anyway, so the 4runner stays outside.......I do get one half of it but....which is filled...

    K&N Drop In Filter, '93 V6 3.0L

I had a drop in K&N for my V6 in my 94 4runner before I did the V8 conversion..... I didn't notice any improvement in mileage, and only slight increase in performance....throttle response was better. I did the ISR mod a phew months later, and this gave better improvements. Keep in mind the...
