Would the check engine light stay on for a trans code or something? Cause there isn't any light on the dash that indicates a problem

Yes I actually did do a trans flush but only a drain and refill but didn't change filter. Could not changing the filter cause the trans to act up?

I've looked around threw threads and couldn't find any answers but I'm new too owning a 95 4runner SR5 w/4WD. It's been shifting fine the first few weeks but after a while I notice it's shifting oddly(erratic shift points) and not shifting into o/d. I've been trying to figure out what solenoids...
