    Undercarriage and Wheel rust problem

The rusty thin plate in the front wheels picture are dust/heat shields. These keep the dust and heat from the brake rotor away from the suspension parts. It should be easily replaceable by going with a on line toyota parts dealer.

    TPMS Question - Wheel Compatibility

Hi Everyone, I have a 2004 Sport V6. After 11 years I am finally having issues with the TPMS sensors needing to be replaced. I am updating the wheels from the stock 2004 sport wheels to a set of 2010 4Runner Trail wheels. My question is compatibility of the TPMS between the two different...

Drive shaft clunk gone with lift kit?

Yep that's exactly what mine was doing too. Based on my research on this forum adding more grease to the slip joint/yoke seems to fix the problem for awhile, but the clunking will come back eventually and require another round of grease. However with the lift, my clunking went away altogether...

Drive shaft clunk gone with lift kit?

So back in November I installed a ToyTech Boss lift on my 2006 sport V6 with 196k miles. Before I installed the lift I was getting the clunking sound coming from the driveshaft yolk. When that starts to happen I usually would grease the yolk via the grease fitting to quite the clunking...

    Too many miles to mod?

I have a 2004 v6 sport with 197k. Last November I did my first big mod and added a Toytec Boss lift. I love it. My only regret is that I did not start any mods until then. I have owned this truck since new. Runs excellent so will be doing more things in the near future which include bigger tires...

    Rusted out transmission cooler line?

Yep, have had two issues. First was the dipstick tube rusted at the joint by the exhaust manifold and was spilling ATF every where. The tube is a two piece set up. In order to repair I had to drop the AT pan in order to drill out the rusted piece. And then insert the new top part of the tube...

    Power Steering Pump Options

I went with a reman from Autozone and found it did not have some of the parts that was on the OEM pump. The part that was missing was a sensor of some kind. Transferred the missing part off the old pump to the new reman and installed on the truck. Had power steering for a whole 30 seconds and it...
