Drive shaft clunk gne with lift kit?

So back in November I installed a ToyTech Boss lift on my 2006 sport V6 with 196k miles. Before I installed the lift I was getting the clunking sound coming from the driveshaft yolk. When that starts to happen I usually would grease the yolk via the grease fitting to quite the clunking.

However, I did not have a chance to grease the yolk before installing the lift and the clunking has gone away. It seems to me the lift has respostioned the driveshaft so it is not strained anymore? I do plan to grease everything this spring but was wondering if others noticed this too?

When did yours make the clunking sound? I've noticed my 4R makes a very slight clunk when I come to a stop, and sometimes just as I take off from a stop light.

I believe it has to do with the nose drop when braking. My stock suspension was tired and when I braked I would get the clunk often as the drive shaft or what ever binds as the angle changes. With my OW 2.0 lift it was much stiffer (and better) than stock so i really have to get on the brake for the clunk to happen. Thats my belief any ways, someone with more technical knowledge can prove me wrong.
