the plug looks wet with fuel, especially compared to the other, i swapped the coils and now I am thinking to throw a set of wires at it, also thinking of how to check that number four injector is getting a voltage pulse

Have you tried leaving it switched to on or intermittent prior to starting? Then simply turn it off and let it go back to "rest" position after a cycle or two. I don't have a rear spoiler and I use my rear wiper frequently when it rains, which here in FL is often.

I purchased my 4cyl 98 with 225k on it and non working AC, when I replaced the AC system I also changed plugs, wires and coils. It had a bit of a rough idle and I ran 2 tanks of double dose Gas Shok before the new plugs and then 2 tanks after, now it purrs.
