Just a quick final update. I ended up staying in the Toyota family and got a new Highlander Limited. I just really like the ride and the interior. Very nice.

I haven't purchased one yet, I went and drove the Highlander again today and I just really like the interior dash layout. I just wish it sat a little higher and had a little more 3rd row room. Does anyone know if there is a Highlander forum by any chance?

I totally agree and that's why I made the decision I did because I was honest with myself in the amount of off road travel I'll be doing in my next vehicle. The 4runner would still make a great everyday vehicle, no doubt, but I just think the Pilot fits my needs a little better at this time.

I know I'll get blasted for this, but go drive a Pathfinder. I came within a squirrel hair of pulling the trigger on a new 4runner but I've backed off again because I drove a family members new Pathfinder Silver Edition.

Quick update, I went today to see the vehicle for the first time. I had to look very hard, but noticed about 7 to 10 total hail marks. The only way they were visible was for me to look at the right angle in the sun light to see them. They are all very minor but there nonetheless. I'm not sure...
